Below, you may find a concept for an electrical elevator that meets the minimum size to be ADA-compliant. The door is on the center, 4’-3” x 6-8”, good for wheelchairs and scooters.

We believe that this is the best solution, because it allows for: 

1. Quick manufacturing, building, and installation. 

2. Instead of one big elevator, many small elevators may exist simultaneously. At minimum, one per every station. 

3. They would take up less space than a conventional elevator as far as columns and infrastructure. 

4. It is an overall cool and futuristic concept that uses renewable energy. It aligns with a future vision of the MTA that is 100% accessible and modern.
